Hi, I’m Payal Surana

I’m a Business and Data Analyst who’s curious about how things work and passionate about turning data into meaningful insights. What excites me most is uncovering patterns that help teams and organizations make smarter, more confident decisions.
 

I recently completed my Master’s in Information Systems at Baruch College, New York City. Alongside my academic training in SQL, Python, Tableau, and data analytics, I’ve worked with nonprofit organizations as a Business and Marketing Analyst - building KPI dashboards, analyzing financial and donor data, managing Google Ads performance, and improving reporting processes through structured documentation and SOPs.
 

Beyond analytics, I value leadership and collaboration. I’ve had the opportunity to judge student hackathons such as HackHarvard and UC Davis, experiences that strengthened my ability to evaluate ideas critically and communicate clearly.
 

I’m currently seeking full-time Data Analyst or Business Analyst roles where I can apply analytical thinking, structured reporting, and business-focused problem solving to real-world challenges.
